(Year 4 and Year 5)

- Focused preparation for grammar and independent school entrance exams, with support across Maths, English, Verbal Reasoning and Non-Verbal Reasoning.

- Our 11+ programme is designed around the different entrance examinations students may face, including GL Assessments and QUEST, with dedicated practice in exam technique, problem-solving, time management and working under pressure.

- We prepare students for a wide range of highly competitive schools and grammar school entrance exams, including:

  • Queen Elizabeth's School, Barnet (QE Boys)

  • The Henrietta Barnett Girls School

  • St Michael's Catholic Grammar School

  • Slough Consortium Grammar Schools

  • Buckinghamshire Grammar Schools

  • South West Hertfordshire Consortium

  • Sutton Grammar School

  • and many other selective grammar and independent schools, both in London and surrounding areas.

Alongside our regular 11+ tuition, we also offer Paper Classes and Intensive Courses for students who want additional preparation and practice.

These can be particularly useful in the months leading up to the entrance examinations, when students benefit from completing a greater volume of exam-style questions and becoming comfortable working under timed conditions.

Our Mock Exams give students the opportunity to complete structured 11+ practice papers.

Students work through papers covering areas such as Maths, English, Verbal Reasoning and Non-Verbal Reasoning, depending on the requirements of their target schools.

Mock Exams focus on:

  • Completing full or timed sections of 11+ papers

  • Becoming familiar with different question styles

  • Improving speed and accuracy

  • Developing effective time-management techniques

  • Learning when to move on from difficult questions

  • Identifying recurring mistakes and areas of weakness

  • Reviewing answers and understanding mistakes

  • Building confidence under timed conditions

The classes allow students to experience the pressure of working against the clock while still having the opportunity to review their work and learn from their mistakes.

Mock Exams are particularly valuable for students who already have a good understanding of the core content and want to increase the amount of exam practice they complete.

Our Intensive 11+ Course is designed for students who want a more concentrated period of preparation, particularly in the lead-up to their entrance examinations.

The course combines targeted teaching, exam-style questions, timed practice and full papers, allowing students to focus intensively on the areas that matter most.

The Intensive Course can include:

  • Intensive Maths preparation

  • English and comprehension practice

  • Verbal Reasoning

  • Non-Verbal Reasoning

  • GL Assessment-style questions

  • QUEST-style questions

  • Timed exercises

  • Full practice papers

  • Exam technique

  • Time-management strategies

  • Reviewing and correcting mistakes

  • Targeted work on individual weaknesses

- Rather than simply completing paper after paper, students receive guidance throughout the course and are encouraged to understand why they are making mistakes and how they can avoid them in future.

How We Teach

We don't believe every student should be taught in exactly the same way. Some students need more time with the basics, while others need to be pushed further. We adapt our lessons to what each student actually needs.

Lessons Built Around Your Child

Every child learns differently. We adapt our lessons to give each student the support and challenge they need.

Strong Foundations

We focus on understanding the basics properly, giving students the confidence to tackle more challenging topics.

A Place to Ask Questions

We encourage students to ask questions, take their time and never feel afraid to say, “I don't understand.”

High Standards

We encourage students to work hard, stay focused and take pride in their progress and achievements.
